Ancillary functions
- Michaëla is (the only Dutch) boardmember of Prime Collateralised Securities (PCS), an organisation which has been set up to reinforce high quality securitisations and market resilience in Europe and a STS-third party verification agent.
- Furthermore, she is a board member of JINC, an organisation that helps young people from deprived neighbourhoods to improve their chances on the labour market.
- She also chaired the board of the University of Amsterdam Fund for eight years up to June 2022.

Qualifications
Michaëla was the Chair of NautaDutilh from June 2010 to July 2014. She graduated from Amsterdam University in 1991. After obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Modern Japanese Studies at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, she joined NautaDutilh in 1994. She was also shortly based in the New York offices in 1996 and 1998 and became a partner in 2002.
