Jurriaan Bos specialises in competition law, European law, and foreign direct investment (FDI). He regularly advises clients on Dutch and European competition law, including merger control, intercompany agreements, abuse of dominant positions. Furthermore, he has experience with state aid, FDI screening notifications and regulated markets.
Jurriaan has experience across various sectors, including financial services, insurance, energy, technology, digital platforms, and the public sector.
Jurriaan joined NautaDutilh in 2021 and is admitted to the Amsterdam Bar. In 2024, Jurriaan was seconded to Travers Smith LLP in London.

Qualifications
Jurriaan studied competition law at King's College London, where he obtained a master's degree (LLM). Before that, he graduated from Utrecht University where he obtained a master's degree (LLM) in Corporate Law and a double bachelor's degree (BA, LLB) in Liberal Arts and Sciences (cum laude) and Dutch Law.

Work highlights
- Advising on and preparing (multi-jurisdictional) merger control filings with the European Commission and national competition authorities;
- Advising clients (including public sector clients) on complex state aid matters and matters relating to regulated markets;
- Advising clients on the submission of joint bids in large tender procedures, including competition advice related to the setting up of joint ventures and sustainability agreements.
- Advising corporate clients on competition compliance and preparedness for potential dawn raids by competition authorities (including carrying out mock dawn raids);
- Assisting clients on (multi-jurisdictional) filings under relevant national FDI screening regimes.
