Lenneke is a member of NautaDutilh’s Finance department, where she specialises in national and cross-border restructuring and insolvency matters. She also advises financial institutions and corporate clients on a wide range of domestic and international financing transactions.

Lenneke started her career at NautaDutilh's New York office where she was based from March 2017 through February 2018, after which she worked in the Dispute Resolution team (2018-2019) where she advised and litigated on corporate, commercial and insolvency matters. She recently worked from NautaDutilh's London office (2023), focusing on the European cross-border restructuring market.

    Lenneke has played a leading role in multiple high-profile restructuring and insolvency cases. Recent work highlights include:

    • McDermott – advising the company on its financial restructuring implemented through parallel Dutch WHOA and UK Restructuring Plan proceedings
    • Keter restructuring – advising GLAS as inter alia lock-up agent in connection with the consensual restructuring of the financing for Keter Group B.V.
    • Royal IHC – advising a group of lenders supporting Royal IHC’s restructuring plan through Dutch WHOA proceedings and representing them before the Dutch court
    • Scotch & Soda – advising Bluestar Alliance on its purchase of the Scotch & Soda brand out of bankruptcy
    • The Learning Network – advising the company on its financial restructuring, including a consensual handover of the keys to a new investor through a share pledge enforcement, a transfer of ownership and existing senior debt, and a substantial debt-for-equity swap
    • Royal IHC - advising a syndicate of banks in the restructuring of the Royal IHC group
  • Qualifications

    Lenneke joined NautaDutilh in 2016, after graduating cum laude in private law from Utrecht University that same year. She is admitted to the Amsterdam Bar.

    She completed the post-graduate INSOLAD/Grotius course on Insolvency law in 2024 (cum laude).

    Lenneke is a member of the Dutch Restructuring Association (Nederlandse vereniging voor herstructurering) and the Dutch Corporate Litigation Association (Vereniging Corporate Litigation).
