Jafar Alhashime is a member of our Corporate M&A practice group. He specialises in corporate law and advises Dutch and international clients on both national and cross-border mergers, joint-ventures and acquisitions, both public and private. He also advises clients in relation to general contractual and commercial issues as well as corporate governance matters.

Furthermore, Jafar is editorial member of a legal journal regarding business-law case law (Rechtspraak Ondernemingsrecht) for which he regularly publishes short case commentary. In addition, as a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Working Group of the Dutch Bar Association for Lawyers (Nederlandse Orde van Advocaten), Jafar is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion including the awareness thereof within the legal profession.

Jafar joined NautaDutilh in 2022. He previously worked at a large British American law firm in Amsterdam where he also gained in-house experience. Jafar graduated from Radboud University Nijmegen in 2019, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Dutch law and a master's degree in Dutch Business law (cum laude).
