Salvia develops bioelectronic solutions that restore health for people suffering from chronic migraine. People suffering from chronic migraine have an average of 22 migraines per month. The device that Salvia develops is surgically implanted under the scalp and by sending small electronic currents (like a pacemaker) the number of migraines can be reduced to 7 per month.
Ruud Smits says: “Honoured to be part of the journey to a treatment for chronic migraine. I wish Hubert, Daniel and Wim from Salvia good luck in bringing this further!"
