NautaDutilh assisted Uber Technologies Inc. in its capacity as investor in a USD 100 million Series B round for Moove Africa B.V. (moove.io), with Moove hitting USD 750 million valuation.

Uber is the global leader of ride-hailing and delivery services, expanding into new markets by joining strengths with Moove Africa B.V., an innovative mobility and delivery fintech that offers vehicle financing to its drivers, enabling a sustainable and accessible mobility ecosystem worldwide.

With this investment, Uber greatly boosts accessibility to its platform with Moove purchasing over 45.000 new vehicles in 16 countries worldwide, including the UAE, India, the UK, and South Africa. The integration of Uber and Moove also further enhances their shared ambitions to push green and technological boundaries in the rapidly evolving developing countries.
