ENGIE Services Nederland N.V. has acquired Hydreco Geomec from HydroCare, a subsidiary of Brabant Water in a competitive auction sale. Hydreco Geomec is a rapidly growing company in the field of geothermal heat development and production with a solid mission: to contribute to the transition to sustainable energy with geothermal heat in the Netherlands.

The acquisition makes ENGIE the market leader in the Netherlands for producing and providing geothermal energy to customers and bolsters ENGIE's ambition to be a leader in the field of renewable energy.

The team that assisted ENGIE with the transaction consisted of Harm Kerstholt, Janneke Reijnders, Ruben Rekers, Edward Rijnhout and Jill Ruigrok.
