Early January, the Ministry of Justice filed a bill of law aiming at transposing the EU Whistleblowing Directive on the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law ("whistleblowers").
The law will in principle be applicable to all persons reporting breaches, working either in the public or private sector

"The law will in principle be applicable to all persons reporting breaches, working either in the public or private sector and who obtained information about a breach in a professional context."  says employment law expert Alexis Glavasevic. "The bill is currently being discussed largely by the lawmakers and is expected to be adopted in the following months".
